An American couple adopted her son, Anthony Lee, when he was 3 years old and renamed him Michael Hess. Through an underground network, he meets others like him. Things only went downhill from there. However, I did find the book to be entertaining enough to possibly read future installments in the series.. It’s tempting to blame him for the mess, but it’s hard to do so, he’s such a likable guy.
The story also made me cry at one point, because the Cassidy’s gay best friend Shane Cortland with his trust issues and string of casual affairs is heart-wrenchingly vulnerable in many of these scenes. It's just what I needed. The total amount of words describing how to do it on these 2 pages was less than a paragraph! What a joke. This is THE BEST I have ever read!!So much knowledgeso much that just "feels" like truth. I'm sorry, but this is NOT sexy or romantic at all.
