Hayes has simplified and shortened the stories by eliminating some of the more elaborate descriptive passages. Her language is vivid, clear, and retains the spirit of the originals. Lynch's pencil and watercolor illustrations are delightful, enhancing the handsome layout with its wide margins and large dark print. He combines realistic painting (a solemn Cinderella and a Hamlet-like prince) with broad caricature (the stepsisters)-sometimes in the same picture. Scattered throughout are isolated small figures, such as Cinderella's mice and lizards or Rapunzel's rampion. The ending seemed too happy and unrealistic. Also, I found the realistic narration so engrossing that I could not put the book down once I started reading it.
I strongly recommend this book to any person who is currently in a leadership role or aspires to be in one.. It's supposed to be comical and I thought it was. The most important element of productivity is human labor.. The cards included in this set are:
