Bryan is a wonderfully sexy & nutso character and by the end of this book you want to know what's going on in his messed-up mind. Meanwhile it changes you and nobody else can relate. The book has whetted my appetite to find out more about this illustrous man. The textbook exposition is clear with examples (samples) of data files or tables that can be, and are, dynamically linked to outputs, be they statistical data or graphics. It helped me pay attention to all of my senses, and encouraged me to take notes on things I wouldn't have otherwise thought about. Hanna has developed an innovative methodology that bridges the gap between most small scale GIS and the (very) large scale (1:1200 +) of most site design. For the first time, I go a really good sense of what the period was like.. It was the high point of the book.
