The book is meant for people who are quite skilled at skiing but still wonder: what else can we do to achieve more in skiing? In the book we will find an overview of the most advanced technologies used in the production of skis and a description of different types of skis for advanced skiers. The chapter "Truths and myths about knee injuries" will enjoy great interest among all skiers. It explains the mechanisms leading to frequent skiing injuries, and what is more important, it provides some tips on how we can reduce the risk of injuries while skiing. And finally, it demonstrates exercises for advanced skiers allowing us to get "thighs of steel" and "perfect balance" before the ski season.
