In the tradition of referring to Vietnam as Johnson's war or Nixon's war, Smith, who questions whether the Gulf War was necessary, places the responsibility for Desert Storm on Bush. Expressing constant misgivings about presidential warmaking, he provides a virtual day-by-day chronicle of the decisions of 1990 that led to war. Unlike Stephen R. Graubard's more polemic Mr. Bush's War ( LJ 1/92), Smith tries to chart the evolution of U.S. policy towards Iraq from disinterest through concern to outright hostility. Smith examines the role of public opinion, Congress, and the press in the evolution of Desert Shield into Desert Storm. He notes Bush's sense of personal mission as a factor affecting the decision to go all out, and he intimates that Bush may well have believed in the royal prerogatives with his constant use of the first person pronoun (singular). There is something for everyone. What you might ask is well worth it? Well, the wait of course. He says:

"I give this 2014 version a three rating. What is called modern bioogy is mostly genetic research done by math majors. This is why so many people in Gaza hate journalists and the media in general. It's Lud that appears on the dust cover. Incentive indeed to read this book.

Most of the book is at a detailed level suitable for a sysadmin tasked with installing and running jBoss. Every short chapter has many exercises, often with hints. Follow up: Despite the continuing missile and rocket attacks from Gaza and the murders of civilians in Israel by Palestinians, in 2015, more than 15 million Palestinians crossed from Gaza and the West Bank into Israel for work, praying at Al Aksa Mosque, and other reasons. The hands-on appeal that this book is also a puzzle makes it much more desirable.
