Part Two has Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter dried arrangements. As a decendant of Captian Briggs' family, I am very familiar with the details surrounding this mysterious event! Jane Yolen does a wonderful job of organizing and distilling all the information that is available and making it accessable to children (my own children thank the author, this story makes more sense to them now!). In the first chapters they mention the total return that an investor would have received from SP500 in the 70s based in the index itself and with the dividends reinvested.
In my opinion, being the SP500 a total return index, i.e. I was pleasantly surprised by these short stories! At first giving the impression of being a fun light read, you'll find the stories in Three Dances are emotionally nuanced. But it's not going to be important or meaningful except that it'll make you feel lousy."
Or maybe the real problem is that I'm just not quite the right audience for this book becaus
