Some people are furious with what Gantos has done to Joey in this book. Other than that, the recipes are good.. This is a timeless, valuable work that has informed my own HIV work with gay men literaly since the day I read it. I don’t feel that the series title gave it any justice. This is not another book about HIV; it is original and thought provoking. This book starts off with what anger is and goes through all the steps necessary to live an anger free, peaceful life. With about 100 new countries since I last bought it, it's a good friend to have nearby when tracking news in the mid-east, asia, and all the rest of the world. But certainly the impulse to convert genders has always existed; whether for socio-political reasons or by nature of how someone feels about themselves or a combination of both.
