The plates (diagrams) are a critical and integral to the text. There were many sections where I had to actually put the book down and wipe my eyes, as I found myself tearing up with emotions of both joy and sadness. I did not discuss politics with Michael during this time period and never talked about supporting Carter. Her colorful descriptions of each site she visited makes readers feel as if they are standing there beside her. The photography is absolutely stunning. My 15 year old son loves snowmobiles and reads everything he can get his hands on to learn about them. First published in 1992, it covers only the first two generations [1975-1990] of 3 series. The Irish government quite literally allowed for the selling of these babies and never allowing the mothers to have their own children. lol.
