Bradburd has served as long-time consultant to Robin Hood on matters of metrics. In this book Weinstein and Bradburd show how to implement the Robin Hood approach and explain how any nonprofit organizations or philanthropic donor can use it to achieve the greatest benefit from every philanthropic dollar. Drawing on their extensive knowledge, the authors devote specific chapters to the difficulties most frequently encountered by donors trying to measure the benefits of their initiatives This book provides straightforward, targeted advice for funding "smart" nonprofit programs.
More time was spent on the events of the siege and those depending on the hero than on the fate of the hero itself. I think the presentation of material is fantastic and the coverage is thorough (or it was at the time I studied it--probably his recently updated work also has this attribute).
I would recommend this book (or rather the most recent edition of it) to any serious graduate student specializing in set theory.
Two areas where I needed supplementary study were in his approaches to the constructible universe and to forcing. You will also learn how to negotiate with suppliers, recruiting top notch sales reps and account managers, retail technology (ie. Training for her triathlons has suddenly become extremely easy for her. Sometimes having a good old fashioned book to go back and forth to different sections is still the best way to go.. Grimly, as it was published, 51 days of another war began.
